He joined Farber in 2014 as an insolvency administrator while completing his law degree. Upon graduation, he joined Farber full time as a manager in the Restructuring practice.

His previous experience includes being legal intern at a New York City litigation firm and doing an internship as a financial analyst at an investment research and consulting firm.

Select client experience

Michael’s experience with Farber includes:

  • conducted a financial review of a global media-rights distribution company leading to an informal settlement offer to the company’s creditors
  • being extensively involved with a receivership appointment of a residential development where he assisted with overseeing of the construction and sales of pre-sold and unsold units
  • assisting with the bankruptcy of a national retail chain including stabilizing operations by coordinating with employees and landlords and administrating the Wage Earner Protection Program
  • providing support in the bankruptcy filing of a multi-location not-for-profit company where he coordinated a sales process of the company’s assets and provided assistance to employees
