Andy finds a wide range of solutions for businesses that are growing, have hit a bump in the road, or are in distress. He has participated in a variety of Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act engagements, including:

  • acting as a Trustee for proposals
  • providing services as a Trustee in bankruptcy
  • being a private and court-appointed receiver

Prior to joining Farber, Andy was the owner and president of a notable insolvency and restructuring firm. As an experienced Licensed Insolvency Trustee, with entrepreneurial business experience, he provides practical and cost-effective solutions that benefit the businesses, their owners, and consumers.

Select client experience

  • Helped save a local transportation company by settling its debts to creditors, including Canada Revenue Agency, through a formal proposal to creditors
  • Provided services for the orderly wind up of a not-for-profit organization through a bankruptcy that saw the creditors receive close to 50 percent of their debts
  • Dealt with an orderly wind up of a multiple location local farm retail store through a bankruptcy that resulted in most secured creditors being paid in full
