As Joint Managing Partners, we have a responsibility to ensure the health and safety of all our employees amid COVID-19. At the same time, we have also made an unwavering commitment to support our clients—both through good times and challenging ones.

Although we are a multidisciplinary business and financial advisory practice, our roots are grounded in insolvency & restructuring. Therefore, managing turbulent situations is a crucial part of our DNA and expertise.

To say these are extraordinary circumstances would be an understatement, however, we have taken every measure to bolster our capabilities and infrastructure—ensuring our business, along with a consistent level of client support, continues to forge ahead.

COVID-19 Update & Protocols

We released an announcement which outlines our preliminary safety updates and protocols. As you can see, we are well-positioned to weather the storm while staying functional from a technological, human resource and finance perspective.

Here are some highlights:

  • transitioned to mandatory remote working for our staff members
  • shifted from in-person meetings to videoconferencing and web-based communications
  • updated our international travel policies for all staff members
  • postponed all Farber events scheduled until further notice while planning a series of web-based offerings

Emotional Intelligence

Our greatest asset is our people. We know all leaders reading this will agree. With that in mind, our Circle & Square team released a very insightful perspective on how to best gauge the mood and morale within your organization. We encourage you to read and share with your teams.

I know we are all busy trying to operate with a ‘business as usual’ mindset, however these are unusual times, and urge you to check-in with your teams—on a regular basis—to help everyone cope and manage the situation from an emotional and mental health standpoint.
