Learning and Development Coordinator

If so, we are looking for you! We are currently seeking a Learning & Development Coordinator to join our Human Resources team for a 1-year contract. Your primary focus will be to support all Learning and Development initiatives and periodically provide administrative support for recruitment activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in learning & development coordination and will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. The ability to work effectively while collaborating and communicating detailed information is also needed.

Key duties & responsibilities

  • Assist in designing high quality, interactive, multi-approach, blended learning solutions
  • Create and develop reference/training documentation such as user guides, quick references, e-learning videos, FAQs, information sheets, job aids, etc. Maintain updates to training and reference materials when needed
  • Support Learning and Development administrative tasks
  • Participate in and contribute to scoping of projects and planning, ensuring learner experience and objectives are met
  • When required, provide administrative support for recruitment activities such as screen resumes, revise job descriptions, post job ads, manage the CATS (applicant tracking system) database
  • Other duties as required

Knowledge & skills

  • 2-3 years of related experience in learning & development
  • Proven experience in supporting the conceptual design and execution of successful training programs and strategies
  • Experience in providing recruitment administrative support
  • Proven project management experience with strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Able to shift focus and manage interruptions in accordance to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills to speak with employees and third parties; adept at interacting with a diverse group of internal partners at all levels
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to liaise with team members and employees
  • Strong computer skills with an ability to learn new software quickly; proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with Learning Management Software is an asset

Education & experience

  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field
